Papers or Abstracts: Papers or abstracts are invited in, but not limited to, the track areas listed. All papers will be blind refereed and accepted
papers will be published in the conference Proceedings. Additionally best papers will be awarded. Abstracts should be of sufficient detail to
indicate clearly the objectives of the research. Acceptance of papers and abstracts are subject to final approval by the Track Chairs/Program
Chair. Submission of a paper implies that an author will register for the conference, attend the conference, and personally present the paper,
if accepted. Failure to register for the conference will result in the paper being removed from the Proceedings. Symposia, tutorials, and
workshops on current topics are invited.
Student Papers: Papers submitted in the student track must be solely of student authorship. Outstanding papers will be recognized.
Submission Policy: The submission of a paper or an abstract means the author certifies it is not copyrighted, it has not been accepted for
publication in a journal or proceedings, it has not been presented or accepted for presentation at a professional meeting, and it is not
under review elsewhere.
Program Participation: Paper reviewers, discussants, and session chairpersons will be needed for a successful program. Please contact the
Program Chair or one of the Track Chairs to indicate your interest by June 30th, 2013.
Outstanding Paper Awards: Outstanding papers will be recognized and will be published in the special edition of the Studies in Business
and Economics Journal.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONTRIBUTORS
Authors should submit papers/abstracts via an email attachment directly to the Program Chair at CBE-Conf at qu.edu.qa and to the
track chair. Papers should not exceed twenty pages; Abstracts should not exceed two pages.
1. Each submission must include a separate title page with the following information:
• title of submission
• type of submission (i.e., Refereed Research Paper, Non-Refereed Research Abstract, Workshop Proposal, Tutorial
Proposal, or Panel Proposal).
• author(s)
• affiliation(s)
• complete address(es)
• telephone number(s)
• email address of the author(s)
• track (or topic) that best fits the submission
• corresponding author
2. The main body of the paper, abstract, or proposal must have a title but should not include author name(s).
3. Time table guideline:
• June 30th, 2013 Deadline for all papers/ abstracts submission.
• August 1st, 2013 Decision for acceptance or rejection will be provided.
• September 1st , 2013 Revised paper due.
• October 1st, 2013 Formatted paper submission deadline for the Proceedings
