1) Shaw Foundation Professor in Media Technology

We are looking for a dynamic scholar to assume an endowed professorship in media technology and develop a world-class program of research and teaching. The position will be offered at the rank of Full Professor, with tenure, and will include an annual budget for research and conference support.  A doctorate is required in an academic field relevant to communication and information studies.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: information design and visualization, web/mobile analytics, social network analysis, netnography, or allied research area. S/he will have an international presence and reputation, an established program of research and scholarship, and a record of organizing and leading interdisciplinary projects.  Interest in building partnerships with NTU colleagues in Business, Medicine, or Sustainability is desirable.

2) Associate Professor in Survey Research



We are looking for an accomplished scholar with expertise in traditional, mobile and web-based survey research, with an emphasis on consumer behavior, social media and social networks, or risk perception.  This position will be offered at the rank of Associate professor, with tenure.  A doctorate is required, as is a strong record of research and publications.
