Vacancy: Visiting Faculty Position in Information Systems 

Position

The Department of Information Systems at the College of Business of the City
University of Hong Kong (CityU) invites applications for one open rank
visiting faculty position in Information Systems. The expected start date is
August 2013. The appointment period is one-year with possibility of
extension for another year. The teaching load is four courses for the
academic year. Candidates must have received a doctorate in Information
Systems or a related area. 

Successful candidates must have a strong commitment to high-quality teaching
supported by a history of teaching excellence in both graduate (MBA/MSc) and
undergraduate (BBA) levels. Preference will be given to candidates with
accounting or finance background who can teach courses related to
information systems audit and financial information services. Ability to
teach other courses in Information Systems or having related industry
experience is a plus.

CityU's College of Business and Department of Information Systems

CityU's College of Business was the first business school in the
Asia-Pacific region to obtain triple accreditations by AACSB, the European
Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and the Association of MBAs.  With over
40 research and teaching staff, the Department of Information Systems is one
of the largest among such departments in the world.  Our research
productivity has been ranked highly, such as the 5th Worldwide and first
outside the USA (Communications of the AIS).  In 2008, the Department was
ranked 6th Worldwide and the second outside the USA (Communications of the
ACM).
