Participate in award-winning international research projects as part of a
young, dynamic and interdisciplinary team. The Department of New Media
Technology of MODUL University Vienna and the Research Institute for
Computational Methods of Vienna University of Economics and Business are
seeking outstanding researchers and software developers with a focus on
interactive Web applications, big data analysis, information exploration,
visual analytics and human computer interaction. We offer several part-time
(e.g. for currently enrolled students), full-time and PhD candidate

Essential Qualifications

** Extensive programming experience (preferably in Java or JavaScript)
** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications

Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
** Dynamic Web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, D3)
** Semantic Search and Content Analysis (e.g., Apache Lucene, Solr)
** Web Intelligence and Big Data Analysis
** Human Computer Interaction, User Interface Design
** Visual Analytics and Information Visualization
