Registration for the IFLA Newspapers and Genealogy and Local History Sections August 14-15 satellite meeting is now open.  The meeting is held prior to the IFLA World Library and Information Conference August 17-23 (http://conference.ifla.org).

Papers are being delivered by experts in the field in library and information sciences.  See the program at

There will also be guided tours of the Singapore Press Holdings Print Centre, and the Malay Heritage Centre, the Roots Revealed Exhibition, a Conference Dinner and a closing Cocktail Party.

Early bird registration fees (till 17th June) are are SGD $176 (Singapore Dollars).
