VLDB - ADBIS Travel Grants
In 2013, VLDB will take place in Riva del Garda, of the province
of Trento, and the week after the East-European Conference on
Advances in Databases and Information System (ADBIS), will take
place in Genoa.
In order to encourage participation to both these major events

Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Georgia, Latvia,
Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania,
Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine), VLDB is offering a
number of fellowships to researchers and students from these
regions that will choose to participate to both events. The
winners of the fellowships will enjoy:
- A reduced registration rate for ADBIS (150?)
- A student registration rate for VLDB (approximately 250?; exact
rate will be published on the VLDB 2013 webpage)
- A fellowship of US$1500 from the VLDB Endowment to support
travel & Accommodation costs
Recipients will be required to register and participate to both
conferences. The registrations should be fulfilled before the
start date of VLDB (August 26, 2013).
