To All Members of AIS + AAA + ACM + IEEE + INFORMS + Other IS Academic Organizations:

You may belong to several professional associations, or maybe you did in the past and dropped some as your career progressed or budgets tightened. Everyone has different reasons for joining more than one society, sometimes because the member benefits you prefer from each association can't be obtained through a single membership. If you only belong to one association, it would be particularly useful to understand why you selected the one you joined.

AIS has joined together with our Information Systems academic peers at the AAA, ACM, AOM, IEEE and INFORMS to learn more about who belongs where and why, and to see if there may be ways to build synergies that will benefit our joint members. We ask that you take part in this very important member survey that is jointly sponsored by these groups. This is an unprecedented attempt to work across borders, and the more we learn from our collective members, the more useful it will be to all these groups.

You may get a link to this survey from multiple associations as we are trying to make sure we get as wide a response as possible. Please only fill out the survey once - AIS is collecting the responses and will be sharing it among all the associations.

The survey may take from 5-15 minutes, depending on how may associations you belong to at this time.
