CfP: BPMJ Special Issue on "New Frontiers in Business Process Management"

Call for Papers: Business Process Management Journal
Special Issue: New Frontiers in Business Process Management

Although BPM has been an important topic in practice and research for decades, the field is still evolving in different ways and directions. It is especially current technological developments and environmental pressures that extend the reach (e.g., to new or previously less-covered application domains and types of processes) and richness (e.g., applying new or previously less-covered concepts, theories, methods, tools) of BPM beyond its traditional frontiers.

We invite contributions from disciplines including information systems, information management, computer science, supply chain management, operations management and management science to cover current discussions on advancing the reach and richness of BPM. Boundary-spanning research that connects BPM with other than the named disciplines is also welcome.

Manuscripts should be prepared per the normal guidelines for Business Process Management Journal and may be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Details on how to submit and the author guidelines can be found at: http://www.emeraldinsight.com/products/journals/author_guidelines.htm?id=bpmj&PHPSESSID=chs4skkfpo31gvgftt47tig7v0. All submitted papers deemed topically appropriate will undergo a double-blind peer review process. For questions, please contact any of the special issue editors below.
