Contract Faculty Position, Department of Information Systems and
Operations Management, Ball State University

Contract faculty position available August 16, 2013, for the academic
year with possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities: teaching 12 hours each fall and spring semester in
information systems, including undergraduate courses which may be
delivered online, synchronously, or asynchronously.

Minimum qualifications: earned master’s degree in information systems
or closely related area; evidence of effective and innovative teaching
at the university level; relevant work experience in the past five
years.

Preferred qualifications: earned doctorate or expected to complete the
doctoral degree by August 2013 in information systems; evidence of
scholarly research publications in refereed journals; industry work
experience in information systems; experience with online teaching.
Candidates for contract faculty searches must have current
authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
