pre-conference workshop on Geographic Information Systems.

by pervasive cloud and mobile technologies and by competitive advantages.

This workshop will:

•       Explain fundamental spatial concepts.

•       Justify GIS’s importance in the IS discipline.

•       Provide examples of use in real estate, logistics, marketing,
insurance, crime analysis,  government, and nonprofits.

•       Explain role of geo-spatial analysis and intelligence for business
& government.
