Dear Colleagues,

Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this email. You are cordially
invited to submit papers for Workshops attached to the Third International
Conference on Cloud and Green Computing (CGC), to be held in Karlsruhe,
Germany, on Sept 30th. Please pass this message on to colleagues who may be
interested.

**** Overview ****

Several workshops are to be held in conjuction with the conference:

European Actions towards Eco-friendly Data Centres
**************************************************

The main focus of the workshop is to present and discuss European
initiatives related to energy-efficiency in data centres, including both
infrastructure and software oriented solutions. The workshop will be
organized by the consortium members of three EC 7FP co-funded projects
which research area is focused on data centres: All4Green, CoolEmAll, and
ECO2Clouds. Besides presenting academic and industry papers coming from
these three projects, other innovative initiatives related to
energy-efficiency in the data centre are welcome to submit their works.

Paper Submission: 5.7.2013

Privacy and Security in Cloud and Social Networks
**************************************************

Cloud computing and social network analysis are two of the most exciting
new trends in the recent developments of information technology. As the new
generation computing paradigm, cloud enables computing resources to be
provided as IT services in a pay-as-you-go fashion with high efficiency and
effectiveness. With the popularity of social software as well as the fast
development of cloud and other high-performance computing infrastructures,
the outcome of social network analysis is becoming more and more
attractive. However, information privacy and security issues are major
challenges in both these areas. This symposium aims at providing a forum
for researchers, practitioners and developers from different background
areas such as distributed computing, social computing, information security
and privacy protection areas to exchange the latest experience, research
ideas and synergic research and development on fundamental issues and
applications about security and privacy issues in cloud environments and
social networks. The symposium solicits high quality research results in
all related areas.

Workflow Management in Service and Cloud Computing
**************************************************

As emerging paradigms, service and cloud computing enable resource to be
employed in utility-based fashion. Workflow automating business and
scientific processing in step by step can be executed in service and cloud
computing environments in the benefit of deploying resources for execution
in that fashion. This workshop following its successful edition of WMSC2012
aims to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers from
different background areas such as service computing, cloud computing and
workflow area to exchange the latest experience, research ideas and
synergic research and development on fundamental issues and applications
about workflow management in service and cloud computing environments. The
workshop solicits high quality research results in all related areas.
