Faculty Position in Information Systems at University of Buckingham, UK

The University of Buckingham, Business School is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our team to teach Business Information Systems. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in research and teaching, will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and, if appropriate, supervise postgraduate dissertations and doctoral students. The Business School is committed to increasing its research focus and the post-holder will be expected to demonstrate proven success in research as well as clear plans for continuing their research at Buckingham.

As a Senior Lecturer the candidate will be expected to take on some administrative responsibilities and, if appropriately qualified and experienced, the role associated with this post will be that of Research Officer for the School and help the Business School to further develop its wider research portfolio.

The person appointed must be able to work effectively as a part of a small team and will be committed to a student-focused approach to University life and teaching. The Business School prides itself on its student-friendly approach and the post-holder must enjoy working with students both in class and as a personal tutor.
