An exciting opportunity to undertake teaching and research of high quality in Information Systems and e-Commerce within the School of Information Management whilst establishing relationships with external practitioner communities.

The School of Information Management (SIM) is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Information Systems & e-Commerce to teach and conduct research of high quality, and to assist in programme development. The appointee will be an active researcher in his/her field with a clear record of research and scholarship activity and peer-reviewed journal publications commensurate with experience. While we are interested in applications across the entire Information Systems and e-Commerce spectrum, we are particularly interested in candidates able to teach and enthuse students at undergraduate level.
The School is responsible for teaching Information Systems and e-Commerce courses as part of the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Honours, and Master of Information Management (MIM) programmes. It also has very active research Master's and PhD programmes in these disciplines.

SIM is located in the Victoria Business School in New Zealand's capital city and is well positioned to develop close links with local and national business and government. The appointment would commence in February 2014.
