Call for Papers: The Twelfth Workshop on E-Business (WEB 2013) is planned this year for August 15, 2013 in Chicago, IL.
(A workshop sponsored by the Special Interest Group on e-Business)

The annual Workshop on E-Business is a premier conference, which provides an open forum for researchers and practitioners worldwide to explore the latest challenges of next-generation e-Business systems, share the latest research findings, explore novel ideas, discuss success stories and lessons learned, map out new e-business models, and collectively chart the future directions of e-business. This year, we are conducting the workshop as a pre-AMCIS event in the Illini Center (approximately 1.1 miles from the AMCIS Conference Hotel)

The Twelfth Workshop on E-Business will be held at Illini Center, in Chicago, IL on August 15th 2013 (morning) and we invite you to submit your papers to this workshop. The deadline for submission of papers is July 15, 2013. We welcome original research articles with a broad coverage of technical, managerial, economic, and strategic issues relating to e-business, including issues related to Big Data and Analytics, Cloud Computing and e-Business. Papers may employ any applicable IS research method (case study, survey, analytical modeling, experiments, computational models, design science, etc.). Broadly, we are encouraging submissions in the following focused topic areas:

Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
Environmental Sustainability and Green IT
E-business System Architectures
Enterprise Web Mining and Web Analytics
Mobile Commerce and Technologies
Multi-agent Systems
Internet of Things, Context-aware Technologies and Services
Managing Software Development
IS Integration and Organizational Performance
Online Security Informatics and Privacy Issues
Social Media, Social Networks and Social Computing Applications

We solicit both completed research and short research-in-progress submissions. Complete research papers should be no more than 12 pages in length, including the abstract, text, figures, tables, and references. Short research-in-progress papers should not exceed 7 pages. The abstracts of all accepted papers will be published in the printed workshop program. All papers that are presented in the conference will be published in post-proceedings in Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (Indexed in ISI proceedings and EI) published by Springer. Authors of some selected papers will be invited to submit the extended versions of their work to a special issue of Decision Support Systems (SCI) and the Journal of Information Systems and e-Business Management (SSCI).
