Washington State University Vancouver and the College of Business invite 
applications for a permanently funded, clinical faculty position in 
Management Information Systems to begin August 16, 2014.

_Required Qualifications_: Candidates must have either:

an MBA or MS in Business, from an AASCB accredited institution or 
recognized international program, /and/ 5 years of industry experience;

*OR,*

a PhD in business or related field from an AASCB accredited institution 
or recognized international program.

All qualified candidates must demonstrate evidence of overall teaching 
excellence (supported by teaching evaluations); excellence in teaching 
the introductory Management Information Systems course and the ability 
to teach a project-based entrepreneurship capstone course.

_Preferred Qualifications_:

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the ability 
to teach multiple courses in entrepreneurship and MIS. Relevant MIS 
industry experience to support teaching and service will be highly valued.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their leadership skills and 
ability to connect with the business community.Experience building 
programs and securing the cooperation of local business organizations 
will be especially valued.

Preference will also be given to candidates with the ability to publish 
in either practitioner or academic journals -- especially in the area of 
entrepreneurship.

Preferred candidates will demonstrate knowledge and ability to 
contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community 
through their research, teaching, and/or service.

In addition to teaching duties, service will include: supporting student 
consulting efforts, working with student organizations, and building 
relationships with professionals.The clinical faculty member must remain 
academically or professionally qualified (per AACSB standards for 
WSU).Additional relevant service to the campus and discipline to advance 
the university towards its goals and provide distinctive contribution to 
the academic field will be required.
