AIMS AND SCOPE
================================================
The main objective of the ADBIS series of conferences is to provide
a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to
promote interaction and collaboration between the database and
information systems research communities from Central and East
European countries and the rest of the world.
The ADBIS conferences provide an international platform for the
presentation of research on database theory, development of advanced
DBMS technologies, and their advanced applications.

PROGRAM

The scientific program of the main conference (September 2-4, 2013) consists of 
three invited keynote talks and presentation of 40 papers selected by the 
international program committee from all areas of database and information 
systems research.

The conference also includes a Special Session on Big Data, thematic
workshops and a PhD Consortium (September 1, 2013).


CONFERENCE VENUE

The ADBIS 2013 conference will be held in Genoa, the capital of Liguria, Italy. 
The conference will be organized by DIBRIS, Department of Informatics, 
Bioengineering, Robotics and System Engineering of the University of Genoa, 
Italy.
