at the
2014 Worldwide Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance Preconference
March 2-3, 2014
Atlanta, GA, USA

The Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance (DynAA) Worldwide Preconference is the definitive forum for exchange of curriculum and research among current and prospective DynAA members. For the 2014 Preconference, DynAA invites curriculum packages and research papers which incorporate Microsoft Dynamics into business, information systems/computer science/technology, and related topics. Refereed submissions will undergo a double-blind review. Accepted curriculum packages and papers will be invited for presentation at the Preconference and will be included in the proceedings. Top refereed submissions will be invited for publication in the Journal of Integrated Enterprise Systems. Submissions of proposals for presentation or panel discussions to be delivered at the Preconference are also invited. Those not selected for a full presentation may be selected for special roundtable sessions.

Submissions must include connections with Microsoft Dynamics in one or more of the following areas:

*         Accounting Information Systems

*         Business Intelligence/Big Data

*         Business Performance Management

*         Cloud Computing

*         Curriculum Design Issues

*         Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

*         Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP)

*         Financial Reporting Systems

*         Information Audit

*         Information Assurance/Security

*         Information System Project Management

*         Information Systems/Computer Technology

*         Systems Analysis and Design

*         Supply Chain Management



Curriculum Packages and Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance Instructional Award Submissions - Submissions of materials for delivering Microsoft Dynamics oriented instruction in the higher education classroom are invited. Accepted submissions will be presented at the preconference and extended abstracts or summaries will appear in the proceedings. Top submissions will be recognized and awarded by Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance Instructional Award.
The goal of the Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance Instructional Award is to encourage development of quality curriculum focused on Microsoft Dynamics. Author(s) of submissions competing for the award should be ready to provide:

1.     A brief outline of the class lecture(s) or demonstration (e.g., something you would provide students or attendees as an agenda for the class)

2.     Identification of any reading or study materials assigned before the class (e.g., Dynamics documentation or e-learning, book chapters, videos)

3.     Slide show decks, handouts, or other materials used during the lecture or demonstration

4.     Follow up assignments or assessments along with rubrics which could be given to students as a result of the class.



Research Papers - Submissions of completed research addressing issues related to Microsoft Dynamics are invited. Research may be basic, applied, or pedagogical but should contribute to the body of knowledge in areas of interest to DynAA members. Case studies which demonstrate these attributes will also be considered.

Presentations and Panel Discussions - Submissions of proposals for presentations or panel discussions on research in progress, curriculum under development, current developments in Microsoft Dynamics, or topics of interest to DynAA members are invited and encouraged. Submissions should be an abstract of 1 to 2 pages describing the presentation or panel. Accepted submissions will be presented at the preconference and abstracts will appear in the proceedings.

Making Submissions - DynAA will publish the conference proceedings in CD/DVD format and online. In addition, the best refereed submissions will be recommended to the Journal of Integrated Enterprise Systems for publication. For acceptance of any submission, at least one author must commit to attending and presenting at the Preconference. Written submissions should be in Microsoft Office Word format, with double-spacing, and 11 font size. Manuscripts should follow APA guidelines for citations and references (See http://apastyle.apa.org).

The deadline for submissions of curriculum packages and research is January 10, 2014. Authors will receive notification of acceptance/rejection by February 1, 2014 with final revisions due February 15, 2014. The deadline for presentation and discussion panel proposals is February 1, 2014. Authors will receive email notification of acceptance/rejection by February 4, 2014 with final revisions due February 15, 2014.
