The Rowe School of Business invites applications for a probationary
tenure-track, tenure-track

or tenured appointment in Management Information Systems at the rank of

Lecturer, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (dependent upon
qualifications and

experience) commencing January 1, 2014 (negotiable). Applicants must have a
PhD (or

be ABD) in a relevant discipline, and must have a business degree. Evidence
of teaching

effectiveness and research performance or potential is required. Candidates
must be able

to meet the School's accrediting body's (AACSB) academic qualification
requirements.

The successful applicant will be expected to engage in leading-edge research
in

Management Information Systems, to teach at the graduate and undergraduate
levels, and

to contribute to the academic life of the School through committee service
and other

activities. The applicant will be expected to be able to teach Business
Intelligence/

Analytics and at least two of the following courses:
Databases/Data-Warehouses,

Systems Analysis and Design, IT Project Management, Mobile Application

Development, and Logistics/Supply Chain Management. Recent experience
teaching with

SAP will be considered an asset.

The Rowe School of Business is part of the Faculty of Management, which has
a unique

learning.

Thus, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work with
like-minded

colleagues in the sister Schools of Public Administration, Information
Management, and

Resource and Environmental Studies within the Faculty.
