Faculty in the Department of Management and Marketing teach an Information Systems survey course that is required of all business majors and offer electives for all business majors (electronic commerce and database management).

JOB TITLE: Tenure-Track Faculty Position

DEPARTMENT: Department of Management and Marketing
The Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Technology at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in Management. The successful candidate will provide support to our MBA program in Healthcare Management and also have the interest and ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in related management areas. This is a full time faculty position with a nine month academic year appointment in the College of Business and Technology at The University of Texas at Tyler beginning fall semester 2014.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or DBA in Management from an AACSB-accredited school. Preference will be given to candidates with an academic or professional background in healthcare management. Candidates who demonstrate a proven record of excellence in research, teaching and service may be considered for a rank of Associate Professor.
Duties and Responsibilities: Includes, but are not limited to: 1) teaching face-to-face and online management courses, 2) carrying out a program of research, and 3) contributing to the university, the community and the profession.
Salary: Salary is AACSB competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience of the candidate.

UT Tyler is a component of The University of Texas System and is located in the beautiful East Texas lake country on the 1-20 corridor, about 100 miles east of Dallas and 200 miles north of Houston. The College of Business and Technology houses three academic departments, with a student population of 1500 students and more than 50 full time faculty and staff members.
