Emerging information technologies offer new solutions to the society,  
improving processes, enabling automation and effective decision-making  
mechanisms and changing current ways of work. Research has tended to  
consider a direct causal relationship between the emerging and  
prospective information technologies and the future of society.

The research in information technology initiatives will greatly assist  
in enhancing the quality of information technology support provided to  
the different areas and domains. Thus this conference will present a  
scenario-planning exercise that aimed to identify possible future
