At the School of Business and Economics of the University of Augsburg,
Bavaria, Germany we offer a tenured full professor position in the field


International Management or Innovation Management


The applicant should have a high profile publication record in
internationally reputed outlets preferably in one of the two fields
indicated above ­ i.e. International Management or Innovation Management. We
expect the applicant to contribute to develop the concept of the school of
an information oriented business and economics study program as well as
improving the profile of the faculty with regard to its research and
teaching portfolio. The applicant should be capable to teach in the English
language and should show a demonstrable record of teaching experience in the
field. It is expected that the applicant is willing to conduct courses in
both, bachelor and master level programs of the school.
Hiring prerequisites are a degree from a higher education institution or
university. Pedagogical capabilities, a doctoral degree as well as
additional academic achievements which are documented by a Habilitation
(second doctorate) or an equivalent by showing a significant publication
record or having been positively evaluated after a tenure process in an
assistant or junior professorship.
Applicants must not be older than 52 years of age when being appointed.
Exceptions from this rule are possible following Art. 10 Abs. 3 Satz 2
Bay-HSchPG (Bavarian State Law for University Staff).
The University of Augsburg is interested in increasing the number of female
faculty members. Hence, qualified women are explicitly asked for their
application. If otherwise identically qualified, handicapped persons are
preferably hired.
