[CfP] Post-ICIS NITIM International Graduate Research School "The role of Information System Design in Reshaping Society"

NITIM (Networks, Information, Technology and Innovation Management - www.NITIM.org), in collaboration with CEMS (Community of European Management Schools), invites Ph.D. candidates to submit their research proposals for the Winter School in Milan, immediately after the ICIS, Dec. 18-21. 
We welcome doctoral research topics, including but not limited to, the following themes:
*	managing networks for innovation
*	responsible innovation and entrepreneurship
*	mechanism and patterns of technology development and diffusion
*	commercializing strategies for technology-based products
*	platforms for high-tech product development and marketing
*	service-based innovation and product-service integration
program, portfolio and project management for R&D and high-tech venture
*	ICT-enabled/ virtual collaboration and new modes of organizing
*	open innovation, community of practice and architecture for participation
*	crisis network management and governance
*	communication and collaboration infrastructures for crisis management
*	humanitarian crisis response logistics
*	coordination and collaboration in heterogeneous actors networks
*	engagement models for entrepreneurs and volunteers in crisis management
The core of the school program will centers on the critical and constructive discussion of the Ph.D. candidates' research design. Throughout the three days, short lectures, keynote speeches, and plenary discussions will take place  in  between  the  presentation  and  feedback  sessions  that  form  the  core  program.  In order to facilitate in-depth discussions and increase the quality of guidance, the total number of Ph.D. candidates will be limited to 30.
We request all Ph.D. candidates interested in participating in the 2013 Winter School to make a submission directly to the Consortium Chair, Sorin Nistor (sorin.nistor at unibw.de).
The submission comprises 3 components:
(i)	A completed registration form (downloaded from www.nitim.org).
(ii)	A supporting letter from the Ph.D. candidate's supervisor or the director of the Ph.D. program at the candidate's host institution. 
(iii)	A research proposal.

*	Submissions:	November 1, 2013
*	Notification of acceptance:	November 8, 2013
*	Feedback from faculty:	November 15, 2013
