[AISWorld] Research on Electronic Portfolio

Dear Colleagues,

I am working on electronic portfolio in my university which is largely a
technological and engineering focused.  It is not so popular as it was
hoped to be by the proponents of e-portfolio.  We are using Mahara and I
hope to get some inputs and looking for experiences which you may have in
your organization.

I find that many people do research on e-learning but not on e-portfolio.
I would like to connect with those who are doing research or implementation
of e-portfolio or the likes at your organisation to get some idea on the
future of this application system.  I would like to know at what stage of
implementation are you at now, did you have or face any challenges when
rolling out eportfolio to students/staff, what platform are you using and
how do you rate e-portfolio as a tool in knowledge creation.  I would
appreciate your responses and input and I will post summary of responses to
my query for the benefit of others.
