Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor
in Information and Operations Management
School of Business
The University of Hong Kong

Applications are invited for appointment as Professor/Associate 
Professor/Assistant Professor in
Information and Operations Management in the School of Business, the 
University of Hong Kong
from July 1, 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year 
fixed-term basis, with the
possibility of renewal. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at the 
Professor or Associate
Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms.

The School is particularly interested in those who can teach and 
conduct high-quality
scholarly research in business analytics and business decision 
analysis. Applicants should
have a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems, Decision Sciences or 
Operations Management.
The appointee should be able to teach courses in undergraduate, 
masters' and doctoral
programs, and is expected to commit to high-quality scholarly 
research, teaching and services.
Experience in teaching MBA courses is required for candidates at the 
Professor and Associate
Professor levels. Information about the Faculty and the School can be

A globally competitive remuneration package commensurate with the appointee's
qualifications and experience will be offered. At current rates, 
salaries tax does not exceed
15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end 
gratuity and University
contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of 
basic salary, as well as
leave, and medical benefits. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
