The Information Systems and Technology Management Department in the George
Washington University School of Business invites applications to fill one
tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems to begin
Fall 2014.

*Professor –or– Associate Professor –or– Assistant Professor of Information
Systems*

*Professor*

This position is for a senior researcher in the field of information
systems.  We encourage applications from individuals who have made
significant contributions to research and teaching in the field of
information systems.  The successful candidate will be expected to conduct
significant scholarly research and provide academic leadership.

*Basic Qualifications —* Applicants must have a Ph.D. in information
systems or a closely related field, an internationally recognized record of
research and scholarship including publications in top academic journals
and an excellent record of teaching.  Applicants must demonstrate research
excellence as indicated by refereed publications in top journals, works in
progress and teaching excellence as evidenced by letters of reference and
teaching evaluations.

*Associate Professor*

We encourage applications from individuals who show commitment to scholarly
research and teaching in the field of information systems. The successful
candidate will be expected to continue publishing in top-tier scholarly
journals and teaching courses in information systems.

*Basic Qualifications —* Applicants must have a Ph.D. in information
systems or a closely related field, a record of research and scholarship
including an excellent record of teaching.  Applicants must demonstrate
research excellence as indicated by refereed publications in top journals
and teaching excellence as evidenced by letters of reference and teaching
evaluations.

*Assistant Professor*

We invite applications for the position of Assistant Professor from recent
doctoral graduates and ABDs or present faculty from other postsecondary
educational institutions. The successful candidate will be expected to
publish in top-tier scholarly journals and teach courses in information
systems.

*Basic Qualifications —* Applicants must have a Ph.D. in information
systems or a closely related field, a record of or a demonstrated potential
for research and scholarship and excellent record of teaching.  ABD
candidates will be considered but must complete all degree requirements for
the Ph.D. by August 1, 2014.  Applicants must demonstrate research
excellence/strong potential as indicated by refereed publications in top
journals, works in progress and teaching excellence as evidenced by letters
of reference and teaching evaluations.

Only one candidate will be selected for hire from the three advertised
position levels combined. Tenure and rank are commensurate with the
qualifications. Salary and benefits are competitive.
