Call for Participation

International Workshop on Innovative Service Infrastructures for Managing Manufacturing Networks

2nd December 2013, Berlin, Germany

In conjunction with

11th International Conference on Service Oriented Computing (ICSOC 2013)



The FP7 IMAGINE project is organising the workshop “Innovative Service Infrastructures for Managing Manufacturing Networks” co-located with the 2013 ICSOC Conference that will take place in Berlin, December 2nd 2013.

The workshop will include the presentation of current research results that will highlight important issues of the domain and potential solutions as outcomes of recent research activities, followed by a panel discussion with invited international experts.

You are cordially invited to submit a paper or a presentation to the workshop, looking forward to an effective cross-fertilization and discussion among the running research activities of the domain.


WORKSHOP SCOPE
·      To focus on recent advancements of Services Science and their applications in the domain of Manufacturing
·      To reveal ideas and innovations for fully automated end-to-end processes that may revolutionise manufacturing
·      To present the on-going projects/initiatives, actively contributing towards enhancing interoperable production systems


TOPICS COVERED (but not limited to)
·      Component based tools and architectures enabling the innovative dynamic composition of services
·      New Business Models, Service Alliances and Virtual Economies
·      Distributed, adaptive and interoperable virtual enterprise environments
·      Dynamic Manufacturing Networks Management
·      Drivers, Environment, Risks and Benefits of setting up FoF Collaboration Networks
·      Collaboration platforms for Innovative and Responsive Manufacturing
·      Real-time management of volatile manufacturing assets, production System Reformation and Monitoring
·      Internet based, user-centric collaboration, sharing and/or mixed reality tools
·      Other relevant topics

EXTENDED ABSTRCTS / PRESENTATIONS SUBMISSION

Extended abstracts and presentations must be in English describing an original work.

Presenters should submit their contributions by email to the Workshop chairs (kraemer at sertech.info, skous at me.com).

REGISTRATION
The workshop is co-located with the ICSOC 2013 conference, but is not officially part of the ICSOC conference. As such, there is NO registration fee for participating to the workshop.
