Hello 

This is a Final call for papers for the 9th International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL-2014) being held at The Federico Santa María Technical University Valparaiso, Chile on 26-27 June 2014.

 

This call will close on 5th December 2013.

The International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL-2014) invites researchers, practitioners and academics to present their research findings, works in progress, case studies and conceptual advances in areas of work where education and technology intersect. The conference brings together varied groups of people with different perspectives, experiences and knowledge in one location. It aims to help practitioners find ways of putting research into practice and researchers to gain an understanding of real-world problems, needs and aspirations.

In addition to the main conference topics, the advisory group invites submissions to the following mini tracks:

Appropriate Technologies for Challenging Contexts chaired by Dr Susan Crichton, University of British Columbia - Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada 

Employability vision in university teaching thanks to innovative learning technology and models chaired by Jeanne Schreurs, Hasselt University in Belgium 

Using social media for teaching, learning and research chaired by Dr Eunice Ivala, Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), South Africa 

Future Universities chaired by Dr Mads Bo-Kristensen, Danish University of Education, Denmark

Academic research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited. Please feel free to circulate this message to any colleagues or contacts you think may be interested.

Subject to author registration and payment, selected papers will also be considered for publication in the Electronic Journal of e-Learning <http://www.ejel.org/> . The Proceedings have an ISBN and ISSN and will be submitted for indexing in the Thompson Web of Science and are listed and/or rated by multiple organisations worldwide.
