Can I please bring your attention to the call for abstracts for the ISCAR - 2014 Congress to be held at Sydney Olympic Park, 29 September - 3 October 2014
This is a Triennial Congress and a major event for a multidisciplinary body of sociocultural scholars in social sciences, education, psychology, and health, as well as commerce, information systems, knowledge management and beyond. The last two Congresses (SanDiego, USA 2008 and Rome, Italy 2011) were attended by researchers from over 70 countries across the world and attracted around a thousand delegates each time.
The Congress Theme -"Inventing the future: Transformative research, imagination and collective action for social change"- resonates with the mission of the FSS and will no doubt stimulate exciting, thought-provoking and energising debates on the future and our responsibilities in how it will unfold.
The Congress is supported by the Faculty of Social Sciences, UOW (in association with Monash and Deakin Universities).
We have world class key-note speakers such as Prof Harry Daniels, UK and Prof Bonny Nardi, USA ( more at http://www.iscar2014.com/speakers.html)
John Steele, Executive Dean, FSS, will open the Congress
If you are interested in being part of this exciting event please consider submitting an abstract (if you have not yet). The deadline for submission is 11th of December 2013.
We have an overwhelming response already from scholars all over the world so don't miss out!
