The Coles Center for Information Security Education (CISE) at Kennesaw
State University (KSU) announces the formation of its 2013-2014 Industry
Advisory Board.


Advisory Board. The mission of the CISE is to serve as a liaison between
KSU and its community for information security educational opportunities
and initiatives and support the directives of the DHS/NSA Centers of
Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education by providing
outreach and promoting the development of pedagogy and research in
information security. The Advisory Board is made up of a balance of
representatives from the business and alumni communities and is dedicated
to the continuing progress of the Information Security and Assurance (ISA)
program at Kennesaw State University by providing advice, opinions, and
ideas as well as serving as advocates to improve the visibility and
enhance the reputation of the ISA program, the department of Information
Systems, the Coles College of Business, and Kennesaw State University.

The industry members for 2013 -2-14 are: Martin Fisher, Director of
Information Security, WellStar Health System; Katherine Fithen, Chief
Privacy Officer, The Coca-Cola Company; Stephen C. Gay, Information
Security Officer and Associate Director, Information Security Office,
Kennesaw State University; Brad MacKenzie, CEO, Clear Skies Security; Tim
O'Neill, BT Security; Nick Owen, CEO, WiKID Systems; Mike Rothman, Analyst
& President, Securosis; David Rowan, Senior Vice President, Director of
Technology Risk and Compliance, SunTrust Banks; Dave Shackleford,
Principal Consultant, Voodoo Security; Chris Silvers, Principle
Consultant, Foundstone; Eric Smith, Senior Partner, Principal Security
Consultant, Lares Consulting; and Walter Tong, Cyber Analytic Lead,
Georgia Technology Authority.

The KSU ISA Program Faculty for 2013 -2014 are: Michael E. Whitman, Ph.D.,
CISM, CISSP, Professor and Director of the Center; Herbert Mattord, Ph.D.,
CISM, CISSP, Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Center;
Andrew Green, Lecturer and Operations Manager of the Center; and Humayun
Zafar, Ph.D., Assistant Professor and Research Associate with the Center.
