The Kennesaw State University Center for Information Security Education is pleased to announce the development of a new journal. The Information Security Education Journal (ISEJ) is ready for submissions, so please consider this the first official call for papers! While the core web site is still under construction, our publisher indicates that the paper submission and review site is fully operational.

The Information Security Education Journal (ISEJ) CALL FOR PAPERS:

ISEJ's web site is located at: http://socio.org.uk/isej/

ISEJ seeks to collect and publish peer-reviewed, high-quality research, perspectives, and best practice articles on the instructional challenges and innovations associated with Information Security teaching and learning in post-secondary educational settings. Information Security education includes curriculum development and implementation, best practices in the teaching of information security theoretical and practical topics, InfoSec laboratory experiences and exercises, and other related pedagogical topics.

The mission of ISEJ is to be the premier outlet for high-quality InfoSec-related pedagogical articles.

In order to meet this mission, ISEJ solicits high-quality research and practice-oriented articles focused on the development and delivery of InfoSec curriculum, for double-blind review and publication. Published papers will be focused on best practices and innovation in the development and conduct of information security lectures, laboratory exercises, student development and assessment.

The Journal will be published semi-annually, with the first issue planned for May 2014 . We expect to publish between 7 and 10 articles per issue.

The core web site is still under development, however, authors may use the paper submission site at: http://socio.org.uk/isej/submission.php .

We look forward to receiving submissions for this exciting first edition!

On behalf of the editorial board:

Mike Whitman, Editor-in-Chief
