POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Systems


The Information Systems Department<http://www.umsl.edu/divisions/business/mis/index.html> within the College of Business Administration<http://www.umsl.edu/divisions/business/> at the University of Missouri-St. Louis<http://www.umsl.edu> seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the level of full-time Assistant or Associate professor for Fall 2014.

This position is intended to address staffing needs in the area of Cybersecurity and related topics.  The position requires strong research potential and a commitment to teaching.  Individuals who will have a completed Ph.D. by August, 2014 are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should email a letter of interest, a curriculum vita, 1 research paper (i.e. publication, presentation or working paper), 3 letters of recommendation, and teaching ratings to Ms. Karen Walsh at 2014isposition at umsl.edu<mailto:2014isposition at umsl.edu>.  The application and recommendations should address the courses and research activities that define the candidate's area(s) of expertise and teaching interest in cybersecurity and related topics, including secure development, business architecture, networking, cloud services, and database technologies.  Review of applications will begin on January 15, 2014 and continue until the position is filled.
