Dakota State University invites highly qualified individuals to apply for a tenure-track faculty position in information systems. DSU seeks colleagues who can contribute to DSU’s doctor of science in information systems through excellence in graduate-level teaching and research. Multi-disciplinary and applied research involving information systems is strongly encouraged and colleagues offer and expect collaboration in all phases of academic life.

Successful candidates will teach within the D.Sc. program and may also teach in master’s-level programs in Information Systems, Health Informatics, and/or Information Assurance. Qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in information systems or a related information technology field, demonstrated record of research accomplishments in applied/informatics-related information systems, experience writing and securing grants, and effective and innovative teaching. Interest and experience in one or more of these areas will be considered a plus: decision support/analytics/Big Data, knowledge and data management, and healthcare informatics. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. from a prestigious academic program and solid technical skills, in addition to those qualifications listed above. Faculty rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary is highly competitive.

DSU accepts applications through an on-line employment site. To apply, visit https://yourfuture.sdbor.edu.
