*Track Description *

The recent advancements of mobile technologies, especially the smartphone
and high-speed wireless network, have enabled a plethora of innovative
services that are not only changing the business landscape, but also
greatly affecting individual consumers and societies at large.

To catch up with this rapidly emerging trend, research is needed to
address issues such as, how can organizations, both private and public,
leverage on the unique capabilities of mobile technologies to serve their
customers? What should consumers do to ensure they can enjoy the benefits
of mobile while at the time not troubled by its associated issues, e.g.,
security and privacy intrusion? What are the implications of mobile
technology development to societies in terms of, e.g., work arrangement
and public welfare?

We invite research articles that provide insights into all aspects of
mobile technologies with attention paid to issues related to their enabled
services and implications at different levels (individual consumers,
organizations, societies) and in different contexts (public, private).
Articles of conceptual, analytical, or empirical nature, which develop or
extend theory and practice, are welcome.
