The IFIP Working Group 8.2 2014 Working Conference will be held at the Auckland University of Technology city campus in Auckland, New Zealand. The WG8.2 conference is scheduled to run immediately after the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS) and immediately before the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), both of which take place in Auckland, making it the place to be in December 2014!

The conference theme is 'Information Systems and Global Assemblages: (Re)Configuring Actors, Artefacts, Organisations'.

Submissions are invited that engage philosophically, theoretically, methodologically or empirically with an aspect of the conference theme, or on any topic relevant to the interaction of information systems and the organisation, which is the focus of IFIP Working Group 8.2 (http://ifipwg82.org/).

We invite those interested in participating to submit one of the following:

  1.  Full research papers (7,000 words maximum)
  2.  Shorter position papers (3,000 words maximum)
  3.  Panel proposals
Important Dates:
Deadline for paper and panel proposal submission:     1 June 2014
Notification of acceptance/rejection decisions:            31 July 2014
Deadline for final papers and proceedings materials:   1 October 2014
Date of conference:                                                 11-12 December 2014
