The Information and Decision Sciences Department, MIS Research Center,
and MIS Quarterly had the pleasure of hosting CoMIS 2014 last week
(April 2-5). CoMIS is a student managed and administered undergraduate
case competition.

We enjoyed having an outstanding group of students and their coaches on
campus. Eleven teams competed, representing Arizona State University,
University of Arizona, University of Connecticut, Emory University,
Georgia Institute of Technology, Indiana University, University of
Maryland, Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, University
of Texas at Austin, and University of Texas at Dallas. Clemson
University sent an observer.

The final round of competition was between Indiana University (placing
third), the University of Connecticut (placing second), and the
University of Minnesota (placing first).

If you had a team competing at CoMIS, congratulate them on their
participation. They worked hard and did you proud! If you are
interested in participating and would like information about CoMIS, let
us know (misq at umn.edu).
