[AISWorld] Information Technology tenure-track faculty positions at Middle Georgia State College

Middle Georgia State College, one of the institutions in the University System of Georgia, invites applications for two tenure track assistant professor positions in Information Technology.

Candidates must have a doctorate degree in IT or related disciplines with at least 18+ hours of graduate course work in the field of IT as well as a reasonable record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor. The primary teaching responsibility will be in the areas of Networking, Information Assurance.The applicants should also be able to teach a variety of IT core and elective courses within the IT program (http://www.mga.edu/it/). Online teaching experience is desired.  In addition to teaching, job requirements include service to the institution; and an active research and scholarly activities leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Middle Georgia State College is a focused baccalaureate institution whose resources are dedicated to the advancement of a 17-county region in the central area of Georgia. The college, which was created in January 2013 through the consolidation of two existing colleges, Macon State and Middle Georgia colleges, is strongly committed to quality education and student success through excellence and innovation in teaching.
