Dear colleagues,
I kindly invite PhD candidates, post doctoral research and junior faculty to participate in the 4th KIN Summer School on Practice and Process Research on Knowledge, Information and innovation. The Summerschool will be held in Amsterdam June 29 – July 2, 2014, just a few days and a few kilometers away from EGOS. Deadline for registration: May 1st 2014.

This Summerschool is organized by the KINresearch group of the VU University Amsterdam (kinresearch.nl) together with Amsterdam Business Research Institute (ABRI). During 4 intensive days participants and faculty will discuss through seminars and small group discussions research, process and practice based methods in the field of Knowledge, Information and Innovation. The teaching faculty consists of an international group of professors, known for their research in the field: Samer Faraj (McGill University, Canada), Raghu Garud (Penn State University, USA), Davide Nicolini (Warwick Business School, UK), Hans Berends and Marleen Huysman (KINResearch, VU University Amsterdam). Participants will engage in intensive sessions with faculty focused on recent theoretical and methodological advances. Participants are asked to read 15 papers prior to the start of the summerschool. The format provides ample opportunity to discuss participants’ own work in progress. We will also have more general sessions on writing, reviewing and publishing led by the faculty.
