The ITU, the International Telecommunications Union, is working on a major publication to come out later this year highlighting the role of mobiles in informal, lifelong and community learning and in skills development.

The international team of experts working on the publication are keen to provide visibility and recognition to projects and programmes that may not have received the exposure they deserve .

The team is specifically looking for projects, not necessarily successful ones, in a variety of formats, perhaps just a critical and revealing incident or event, perhaps just a crucial aspect or factor, that help the wider community working with the disadvantaged or disengaged to exploit mobiles in a sustainable way.

Case studies that help readers understand issues of context and transferability would be especially welcome.

Please make contact as soon as possible and send a very brief account to Professor John Traxler, email: John.Traxler at wlv.ac.uk
