INFORMS 2014 Service Science Best Paper Award Competition

The INFORMS Service Science Section announces the 2014 Best Paper Award
competition based on the presentation at the Annual INFORMS Conference 2014
in San Francisco, CA, USA, November 9-12, 2014.


The INFORMS Service Science Section promotes and disseminates research and
applications among professionals interested in theory, methodologies, and
applications in Service Science. The Section provides a forum to exchange
new ideas in Service Science.


Presenters will need to be a Service Science Section member (before the
abstract submission) to be considered for this award.


By *May 15*, submit your abstract to the conference website (choose
"Service Science" as your topic area) (
http://meetings2.informs.org/sanfrancisco2014/abstract.html), and send your
full paper to the Service Science Cluster Chair Dr. P. K. Kannan at
PKannan at rhsmith.umd.edu for consideration for the Best Paper Award of the
Service Science Section.


We will invite finalists to present their work in Best Paper Award
Competition sessions, and a panel of distinguished service science scholars
will determine the rank ordering of winners. The winners will be announced
at the INFORMS Service Science Business Meeting. Winners will be recognized
by cash awards, certificates, plagues, and their names, affiliations, and
papers will be displayed on our official website and newsletter.
