Greetings AISWORLD members.

CIST 2014 (Conference on Information Systems and Technology) will be held on November 8-9, 2014 in San Francisco, California. This year's theme is the convergent phenomenon of Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud and Security, collectively known as SMACS.

In keeping with the theme of the city and INFORMS, we aim to create a bridge among researchers across business, government and research universities.  We already have an exciting panel of distinguished speakers and panelists, who cut across business and academia, including Hal Varian, Chief Economist, Google; Piero Bonissone, Chief Scientist, GE; Robert Stackowaik, Vice President, Oracle; and Jeff Welser, Director, IBM.
