Assistant Professor in Business Informatics (tenure track)

The Department of Computer Sciences School at the VU University
Amsterdam invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor.
Interested applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in computer science or
closely related discipline. Preferred research areas include business
process management, process mining, workflow management, conceptual
modelling, service-orientation, and social information processing.  A
successful candidate will excel in teaching as witnessed by
evaluations and awards, has a clear vision on education, and can
convincingly demonstrate to consider teaching equally important as
research. The initial appointment will be for a period of four years.
Based on performance indicators agreed on at the start of the
appointment, a tenure track position will lead to a tenured position
in a period of maximally 4 years.

Applicants are requested to write a letter in which they describe
their abilities and motivation, accompanied by a curriculum vitae, one
or two references, and copies of 2 relevant research papers. Please
