The University of Adelaide’s School of Computer Science invites applications for a Lecturer (level B) position in Computer Science. This is a fixed term 2 year contract position that is available from August 2014 with a salary range of A$84,874 - A$100,790 per annum plus 9.25% superannuation contributions.
We are seeking an individual with ability to teach in a wide range of core computer science subjects, with specific experience within Software Engineering. To be successful, an applicant should have:

  *   A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
  *   Teaching experience demonstrating both commitment and success; or a demonstrated capacity to develop the skills that enable effective and inspirational participation in the teaching program of the school.
  *   Ability to significantly contribute to the teaching and administration of subjects (including curriculum development) within the range of subjects offered by the school, with specific experience in Software Engineering.
  *   Ability to significantly contribute to world class research in an area of computer science.
  *   High level of oral and written communication skills in English.
