Modern societies have become increasingly dependent on Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Although the use of ICTs offer benefits they also expose individuals, organizations and nations to new risks including those that result from Internet-related security breaches and misuse of cyber-power.

This special issue on Cyber Security in Information Technology for Development<http://tandf.msgfocus.com/c/13Vx9hrE4TrhQKHSW2xbsJIa6z>  presents models that have immediate application in the context of development, and offer theoretical or design science contributions that relate to the concepts of cyber-security in national development agendas. The papers also give insights for future research on cyber-security for development.
