**** Scope *****
Enterprise information systems (EIS) are large-scale modular software systems, such as ERP, that support and integrate process information flows, information reporting and business analytics within and between complex organizations. They provide a technology platform that enables organizations to integrate their information assets and coordinate their business processes. As the central nervous system of the organization, they ensure that information can be shared across all functional departments and managerial levels. EIS are invaluable because they eliminate the problem of information fragmentation caused by multiple information systems in an organization.
The CONFENIS series of conferences of IFIP Working Group “Enterprise Information Systems” offers an annual opportunity to EIS researchers and practitioners to present recent research or application experiences, to provide feedback to peers, to set out the vision for future research and developments in the field, and to create or confirm long-lasting and fruitful collaborations. This year, CONFENIS 2014 conference will be held in conjunction with the 16th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services (iiWAS2014).

**** Submission Guidelines ****
Your paper should be formatted according to the ACM guidelines (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates). Authors using Latex need to choose the LateX2e Tighter Alternate style. As all submissions will be double-blind reviewed, the author names(s) and affiliation(s) should not be included anywhere in the document for the initial submission. As it places a significant administrative burden on the conference organisers to ensure that your paper does not identify you as an author, and as this is central to the integrity of the double-blind review process, then failure to comply with these formatting requirements will result in rejection of your paper.
The page limit for submitted papers (as well as for final, camera-ready papers) depends on the type of submission:
- Regular research papers: 10 pages
- Short position papers: 4 pages

**** Journals Special Issues ****
Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be considered for publication in special issues of international journals
