United States (US) National Science Foundation (NSF) Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Research Initiation Initiative (RII) supports faculty in the first two years in an academic positions at US institutions. (See http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/nsf14562/nsf14562.htm for details.)  

CISE will be holding a webinar on July 28 from 3pm-4pm Eastern to present the program and answer questions.  Preregistration is required by July 24 (see
http://www.nsf.gov/events/event_summ.jsp?cntn_id=131914&org=CISE). The webinar will be recorded and posted to the site shortly after the event.
An FAQ for the program will also be posted soon.

Note that the CRII announcement on May 15 stated that applications are limited to US citizens, permanent residents, or Nationals. On May 30, this requirement was removed, and application is open to anyone who meets the other requirements of the solicitation.
