Research Scientist Position (Experimental Behavioral Research, Consumer Marketing, Customer Profiling) for the Social Intelligence Group at the Department of Social and Cognitive Computing:

Job Reference No:          IHPC/SCC/SI

You will contribute as a technical lead in the Social Intelligence Group, which focuses on designing new socially intelligent systems and methods that enhance the understanding of public and consumer sentiment, preference, and behaviors. You will also work very closely with the capability group manager, other technical area leads, collaborators and visiting experts.

Requirements:


*         A PhD degree in Marketing / Economics / Social Sciences / Information Systems / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent

*         Solid scientific research methodology in quantitative research (e.g. survey, experiment), data analysis, experimental behavioral or modeling

*         Demonstrate independent academic research and scholarly publication capabilities

*         Experience in research or development e-commerce technologies, social media analysis, social marketing or related field will be an advantage

*         Strong interest in applied research will be an advantage
