THE 12th ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING TRACK
The ACM Symposium on Applied Computing has been a primary gathering
forum for computer scientists, computer engineers, and software
engineers from around the world. The 30th Annual SAC will be held in
Salamanca, Spain, between 13-17 April 2015.

Enterprise Engineering aims at researching concepts, theories, methods
and tools to facilitate the modelling, governance and analysis of the
multiple aspects pertaining to an organization. Its focus is on
understanding the relationships and dependencies between cross-cutting
concerns such as business processes, goals, strategy, people and the
supporting systems and technology. Enterprise Engineering therefore
encompasses multi-disciplinary topics, such as enterprise architecture,
business process management, business process modelling, business
informatics, enterprise ontologies and business-IS-IT alignment. The
12th ACM SAC Enterprise Engineering track provides an opportunity for
researchers, academics and practitioners interested in enterprise
engineering to present their results, exchange their ideas and discuss
open issues.

MAIN TOPICS
Enterprise Architecture
     - Enterprise modelling
     - Enterprise architecture frameworks
     - Architectural views, viewpoints and layers
     - Enterprise ontologies
     - Model analysis, verification and validation
     - Formalization of enterprise models

Business Process Management
     - Business process modelling
     - Business process mining
     - Business process visualization
     - Business process auditing and security
     - Applications of BPM to enterprise "big data"

Enterprise Information Systems
     - Enterprise integration, business integration and systems integration
     - Intra and inter-organizational collaborations and contracts
     - Application of service-oriented architectures to enterprise
engineering

Methods and Tools for Enterprise Engineering
     - Governance, maintenance and evolution of enterprise models
     - Collaborative methods for enterprise engineering
     - Elicitation methods
     - Tools for enterprise engineering
     - Applications of design science research to enterprise architecture

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Accepted papers will be published in the ACM SAC proceedings and indexed
in the ACM and IEEE digital libraries. The authors of the best papers
will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to a
specialized journal.

The ACM SAC is a refereed conference and each paper will undergo a
double-blind review by three referees. Papers will be evaluated
according to their significance, technical content, originality, style
and clarity. Submitted papers must be formatted using the ACM SIG
format. Document templates (LaTeX, MS Word) are available at
<http://www.acm.org/conferences/sac/sac2015/> Please omit the author
names and contacts from the submitted paper. The paper should not exceed
6 pages in ACM format. Authors may opt to add 2 additional pages at
extra charge, up to a maximum of 8 pages. Authors of quality papers that
are not accepted as full papers will be invited to publish their work as
a short paper presented as a poster during the conference. The short
paper length is 2 pages, with the option of one extra page at extra
charge. Papers can only be submitted to a single ACM SAC track. Paper
submissions should be done electronically in PDF format through the
website at
<http://www.acm.org/conferences/sac/sac2015/Paper-SubmissionUploadPage.htm>

Paper registration is required and an author or a proxy must present the
paper at the ACM SAC. This is a requirement for the paper to be included
in the ACM/IEEE digital library. No-show of registered papers will
result in excluding them from the ACM/IEEE digital library.

Please do not hesitate contacting us any time for content guidance or
any questions. More information on ACM SAC 2015 at the official
conference page: http://www.acm.org/conferences/sac/sac2015/

*STUDENT RESEARCH COMPETITION*
Graduate students seeking feedback from the scientific community on
their research ideas are invited to submit extended abstracts of their
in-progress work in areas directly related to Enterprise Engineering or
to areas related to any of the other SAC 2015 Tracks. Please visit the
SAC 2015 website for more information about the SRC Program.
