GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for multiple non-tenure-track clinical faculty positions in the Department of Computer Information Systems. The starting dates for these positions are negotiable and may be as early as Spring semester 2015. Rank is open but we expect to hire at the level of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor. Candidates for clinical faculty positions must have demonstrated high-level classroom performance, significant professional experience, demonstrated capability for and commitment to publishing research in refereed journals, and an earned Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, preferably from an AACSB-accredited university or international equivalent. We are looking for candidates with teaching interests in one or more of the following areas: Information security, Database Management, Big Data analytics, Enterprise Systems, IT Project Management, Business Process Management, and Emerging Technologies.

The Department of Computer Information Systems in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University offers degree programs with majors in information systems at the B.B.A., M.S. and Ph.D. levels and offers a concentration in the College's MBA program. The Department of Computer Information Systems is part of the Robinson College of Business and is consistently ranked as one of the top information systems departments in the world.


Georgia State University (GSU) is a leading urban research University located in the heart of Atlanta. Salary and benefits are competitive. Positions are contingent on University budget approval.  Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until positions are filled.
