In anticipation of having available up to 2 Assistant/Associate Professor of IS position openings in August 2015, KSU will be hosting information sessions at AMCIS in Savannah, GA on August 7-9. Please email Tridib Bandyopadhyay ( tbandyop @ kennesaw .edu ) to schedule an appointment. Attendance at an information session is not a prerequisite for applying.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 

Pending budget approval, Kennesaw State University anticipates having up to 2 tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Systems position openings beginning August 2015. Responsibilities include: teaching courses at the graduate and undergraduate level in Information Systems (e.g., IT project management, IS strategy and policy, global IS management, database, and systems analysis and design), research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University as required. 


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS 

An earned doctorate in Information Systems or a closely related area from a regionally accredited institution or the foreign equivalent is required. A doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution is ideal. ABDs will be considered, as long as the doctorate is completed by August 2015. 



DEPARTMENT/COLLEGE OVERVIEW 

Michael J. Coles College of Business is fully accredited by AACSB -International. The Department of Information Systems consists of 25 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate degrees in Information Systems and Information Security and Assurance, a graduate degree in Information Systems (MSIS) and a dual degree MBA-MSIS.
