**** Scope *****
Enterprise information systems (EIS) are large-scale modular software systems, such as ERP, that support and integrate process information flows, information reporting and business analytics within and between complex organizations. They provide a technology platform that enables organizations to integrate their information assets and coordinate their business processes. As the central nervous system of the organization, they ensure that information can be shared across all functional departments and managerial levels. EIS are invaluable because they eliminate the problem of information fragmentation caused by multiple information systems in an organization.
The CONFENIS series of conferences of IFIP Working Group “Enterprise Information Systems” offers an annual opportunity to EIS researchers and practitioners to present recent research or application experiences, to provide feedback to peers, to set out the vision for future research and developments in the field, and to create or confirm long-lasting and fruitful collaborations. This year, CONFENIS 2014 conference will be held in conjunction with the 16th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services (iiWAS2014).

**** Submission Guidelines ****
All submitted papers should be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period. Submissions must not exceed 15 pages in LNBIP format and must be in PDF format. All accepted papers MUST follow strictly the instructions for LNBIP Authors. Springer’s LNBIP site (http://www.springer.com/series/7911) offers style files and information. The papers will undergo a single blind peer-review process (meaning, you need not hide authors' names and affiliations) by at least three program committee members of the conference and qualified peer-reviewers based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.
